Fall is my favorite time of year to experiment with cocktails. It’s fun to have festive cocktails for holiday gatherings or if you’re like me and my friends, we also like to get together to make creative cocktails when we’re all hanging out. There’s so many good flavors between fall fruits such as pomegranates, pears, cranberries, apples and more and these lots of wonderful spices like cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and ginger that all carry a lot of nostalgia for many. If you’re looking for a cocktail that’s sure to please a wide array of people or simply something new to try, you must certainly give this one a try! This quick and easy cider champagne cocktail is a must-try!
When I was thinking of a new cocktail recipe to try out, I wanted something that felt nostalgic for me and had flavors that would be favored by many. Growing up during the holidays as a kid, my family would always have Martinelli’s Sparkling Cider. We’d have it at Thanksgiving, Christmas and during New Years. I wanted a grown-up version of my childhood holiday drink.
For this recipe, I chose to use Martinelli’s Unfiltered Apple Juice because I liked the flavor it gave the cocktail. I tried the recipe with their Sparkling Cider but it was hard to taste the champagne. The lemon and ginger give this cocktail more dimension and the flavors pop.
Make this cocktail for your next get together during the holidays or with family and friends if you want a simple cocktail that will be sure to please many. Let me know your thoughts on this cider champagne cocktail if you give it a try!
